Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Director’s Cut Game’s PS4 HD Remaster Revealed

Square Enix announced during a Star Ocean anamnesis live streaming program that it will release Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Director’s Cut for the PlayStation 4. The game will be an HD remaster of tri-Ace’s PlayStation 2 game of the same name. In the below video, staff members begin announcing the game around the 1:12:05 mark and show a comparison of the HD and original versions.

The digital-only release will feature the same content and gameplay as the original release with enhanced graphics. Sony Interactive Entertainment’s HD emulator technology enhanced the game. The upcoming game will include the share function, trophy support, remote play, and other features.

tri-Ace’s original Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (Star Ocean 3) role-playing game shipped for PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2003. The Director’s Cut version with additional features shipped worldwide in 2004.
